Interesting Facts About Saddle Shoes

Written by JayeshBagde on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Recreation.

Saddle shoes are also considered as formal leather footwear. There are various types for different lifestyles.

Saddle shoes are two-toned formal leather footwear. These are white shoes with a colored saddle across the center of the shoe. The color is usually white and black. The toe and back of it are white. It can be worn by both men and women, in different styles. It ranges from ultra high platforms to golf cleats.

This type of shoes has these features:

- Vamp

- Instep

- Throat

- eyelets and

- Tongues are black in color.

The vamp and in-step are shaped like a saddle in the center. A matching black strip runs on the back of the shoe heel. Some saddle shoes have a buckle on top of the black strip. These saddle shoes’ sole consists of different “low heeled” sole that has a coral coloration. Saddle shoe manufacturers have made saddle shoes in different color combinations and designs. Saddle shoes are versatile that it can match any wardrobe.

Saddle shoes were first sold in1906. They were first worn by boys. Girls started wearing them during the 1920s. But during the 50s, these shoes were usually worn by women with:

• poodle skirt

• white blouse and

• white cuffed ankle socks

The clothing styles then were:

- tight fitting blouses

- pirate pants

- pedal pushers

- jeans

- petticoats

- Peter Pan collared blouse

- Twin sweater shirt

- Cinched belt

- Pleated skirts and others

Saddle shoes are considered as sporty shoes. They are worn like loafers before sneakers became trendy footwear. They are not worn on formal occasions by boys. They can be worn on informal occasions, by older boys and matching them with sport jackets

Men’s saddle shoes or men’s saddle oxfords were known even during the post-war era. This happened when they were:

- Jiving

- dancing jitterbug and

- listening to the vinyl album of Elvis Presley

At that time, the market demanded men’s saddle shoes, which later on created many men’s two-toned colored saddle shoes.

Saddle shoes are remarkable because they can be worn by boys of all ages. Ordinarily, older boys do not wear styles worn by younger boys. Saddle shoes appear to have been suitable to all age groups.

Saddle shoes for men are still very much available in the market. Today, men’s variety saddle shoes come in different styles. There are even athletic men’s variety saddle shoes for very active individuals. For the golf enthusiasts, there are “golf saddle” shoes. Hence, waterproof men’s variety saddle shoes are out in the market as well. For those who prefer the casual variety, saddle oxfords are recommendable. These are popular amongst executives.

At current, men wear saddle shoes for golf and sometimes with retro attires. A lot of golf saddles have a classic saddle appearance. They have advance features for comfort and support. Sporty or athletic saddle shoes now possess shock absorbing mid-soles and stabilizers. Sporty saddles even have superb toe-hold. This is another reason why they are known amongst golfers. Having a shoe with good toe-hold is important when playing golf, especially when swinging or putting.

If you want to rock and roll, you can try the fashion footwear that replaced the loafers. Saddle shoes, especially for the younger generation, are considered outstanding amongst all other American shoes.

Different Kinds of Saddle Bags

Written by JayeshBagde on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Recreation.

Saddle bags are a great addition to your saddle. From its original leather material, saddle bags are now made out of synthetic material. There are different kinds of Saddle bags that can fit your needs.

An important part of the equine track, since the first saddle was invented, is a saddle bag. It is a great addition to your saddle. Since there are things that a person likes to carry with him, saddle bags are good for:

• water bottles

• rain coat

• cell phones and others

Saddle bags are originally made from leather. At current, equine saddle bags are made out of synthetic material. Examples of these synthetic materials include:

• Condura Nylon

• Canvas

Some nice-looking saddle bags available have soft linings on the backside. An example of a soft-lining saddle bag is the Fleece. Soft lining bags are used in order to prevent the bag from chaffing your horse. With this, you can consider how much load you want to take before choosing a saddle bag for your horse or mule. Of course, choose the one that best fit your needs.

Trailmax Saddle Bag System also offers a removable cantle bag. This is very easy to pack and load. It is even lined with removable foam insuliners. This helps protect delicate baggage. When properly and securely attached, this bag will not slap against the horse’s flanks.

Aside from this, it is made from 1,000 denier nylon with two sizes and six colors. The western saddlebags of TrailMax are also durable. You can use machine wash on it.

For the trail rider, a Synergist Saddles’ saddle bag is appropriate for the conventional look. It comes in large or small sizes. It can fit with any Western or endurance saddles made by any manufacturer.

Measurement: 11” across with 5” gusset

Small Saddle Bag

Measurement: 8.5” across with a 3” gusset

Colors:

- Black

- Brown

- Mahogany

- Saddle Tan and

- Natural

It is important to load your horse saddle bags on your saddle so as to be:

• equal in size

• equal in weight and

• equal in weight distribution

Your horse saddle bags can have a heavy weight. Hence, it cannot adjust in the saddle like a rider.

Equal Size

TrailMax Horse Saddle Bags have equal sizes in their models. TrailMax Saddle Bags are of the same size on each side, regardless of the design or material.

Equal Weight

When loaded, make sure that each side of your horse saddle bags is within a few ounces of each other.

TrailMax Packers Scale is easy to:

• read

• lightweight and

• designed to allow one person to weigh items without assistance

Equal Weight Distribution

It is important to balance your heavy stuff on both sides evenly. Riding saddles can make you slip to the heavier side if it is not evenly placed. Aside from this, it is uncomfortable and hazardous riding down the trail with a heavy saddle on one side.

Some horses can carry more than others can. Consider the following:

• The size of the horse.

• The conditioning of the horse.

• The build of the horse.

• The attitude of the horse.

• The age of the horse.

• The size, fit, and weight of saddle.

• The ability of a saddle to distribute weight.

• The weight of the rider.

• The design of the horse saddle bags

• The distance of the ride

• The weather

The horse can carry load better over the front quarters as compared to behind the saddle. You can use horn bags for heavier gear like:

- Water

- Camera

- binoculars and others

What is a Rope Hammock?

Written by JayeshBagde on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Recreation.

Hammocks are used for peaceful relaxation or resting. They are easy to prepare and hang. Hammocks have three distinct varieties.

There are Three Key Types of Hammocks

Rope Hammocks

Features:

- most common

- most durable and

- inexpensive

- cooler to the skin

- allow for easy air flow

- it conforms more to the body

These hammocks are cooler to use because they are constructed with both cotton and polyester. Easy air flow is also enabled through its weave.

Cotton Rope Hammocks

This is excellent for people who want to bring out an extraordinary type of hammock. Hammocks made from polyester rope can withstand any type of weather. The least comfortable would be rope hammocks and the mesh-fabric variety.

Fabric Hammocks

This type of hammock gives out a continuous surface. These are made from different materials, from natural to artificial. Fabric hammocks are lightweight and easy to handle and carry. It is easy to set up as compared to the rope type. They are also used in the exchange of bedding options. Its maintenance is quite simple since these types of hammocks do not give ventilation, unlike the usual rope hammock. Hence, artificial fabrics can resist moisture.

These hammocks have been around for many, many years so far. Native artists actually hand-weave these type of hammocks with the use of web-like designs. They are comfortable with the shape of the body produced. They are also adaptable as an extra bed or furniture, even in small spaces. They can be anchored in wall hoops or even ceiling beams. They are also featured with colorful patterns and designs.

When you think of hammocks, the ones that come to mind are conventional rope hammocks. This would be the ones tied in-between two trees. Thus, you can make your own single person rope hammock by following these instructions:

Materials to be needed:

- 2 pounds of rope hammock rope sizes 33” x 72”= 740’ (Use Polypropylene)

- 1 wooden gauge stick size 2” x 6”

- 1 giant Netting Shuttle size 8” x 12” x 3/16” thick

- 2 hardwood bars size 1

The Importance Of Balance In Rollerblading

Written by JayeshBagde on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Sports.

Rollerblading entails learning fancy tricks. To attain this, you need to learn the factors that can promote certain styles and tricks.

Rollerblading is easy. It just takes practice to get used to the tricks and the moves.

What is the Importance of Balance?

Balance is a basic essential of rollerblading or roller skating. It is the major skill you do on skates.

A. Speed

Extraordinary balance is the key to controlling your push and to set down successfully. Skating with one foot on the ground is the key to skating fast. It is not only limited to skating forward but to double push and crossovers.

B. Freestyle

Many moves on skates rely on balance. This means you can skate by touching the ground. Precise and crisp weight transfer for best style depends on balance.

To sum it up, extraordinary balance is a skill which every good skater must develop. In every skating discipline, a good skater must learn this on an exceptional level.

What To Do To Improve Balance?

Goals to work on:

1. When not on skate

To improve one foot balance, learn yoga. This is an approach by Eddy Matzger. He makes this a part of his skating workshops.

You can practice by brushing your teeth while standing on one leg, barefoot. Some people try to balance interchangeably using both of their legs for two minutes, while brushing. Their goal is to hold on. They also change the amount of knee bend. There are days that they stand at a recreational bend. There are times when they stand in a speed skater bend or in-between. It will soon make a big difference to your skill in balancing.

2. Wobble boards

A wooden board is in the form of a wooden disc. It has a hemisphere on the lower surface. It’s obvious that it requires two foot balancing and it is actually easy. Later on, it gets harder when you practice balancing with one foot and with your eyes closed.

3. Scooters

This is a combination drill. It works using one-foot for skating balance while pushing correctly to the side.

4. Toe Rolls

This is a slightly difficult drill. It tests how you do your balancing with one foot while you do another “skate rolling” behind you. This also requires you to do this via a toe wheel, so as to give balance.

5. T-Stopping

Learn to T-stop well and evenly on both sides. It’s a superb way to learn to balance correctly. The destabilizing action of the dragging foot is much harder to manage than just a simple toe-roll.

6. Poop Trench Drill

It is one of the favorites of Sebastian Baumgartner. It involves two similar lines. On the left line, you balance on your left skate. On the right line, you hop across and balance on your right skate.

7. Over-carving Drill

This is simply skating while carving. Each step causes a turn on one foot. This is also an excellent drill to work your balance on. Keep your weight in your heels so as to perfect your heel carve control.

These drills focus on the left-right balance during skate steering. There’s also a required fore-aft balance to focus on also. This can be worked by the following:

Grass stops. Learn to skate backward to either side.

Awoogas. If you are on the workshop of Eddy Matzger, you must familiarize yourself with these:

- two-foot slalom

- one-foot slalom

Finally, don’t forget to practice more on the weak side. This will bring up to the ability on your good side. Working on your weaknesses will improve your skating.

Interesting Facts About The Atlas

Written by JayeshBagde on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Education.

An atlas is a collection of maps in the form of a book. There are different kinds of atlases available in the market today.

A collection of maps bound into book form is called an ATLAS. There are also atlases in various multimedia formats today. It has geographic features and political boundaries. An atlas usually features:

- Geopolitics

- social aspects

- religious traditions and

- economic statistics

Claudius Ptolemy, a geographer, constructed from his calculation the first book of atlas. He worked in Alexandria in 150 A.D. In 1477, his first edition was published in Bologna. It was illustrated with a set of 27 maps. This means it was not known then whether these maps were original engraved versions or otherwise.

In 1544, trading centers in Rome and Venice produced many maps. The publishers worked separately and produced maps based on their needs. These maps vary in sizes and later on, they bound them together into composite works. These works were called IATO or Italian, Assembled to Order. It was more often called Lafreri Atlases.

Abraham Ortelius was recognized in issuing the first modern atlas in May 20, 1570. The Theatrum Orbis Terrarum of Ortelius has about 53 map-sheets. It actually covers the whole world. This work reduced the available maps into a uniform size.

Gerardo Mercator introduced the earliest atlases in 1595.

The word ATLAS is a common basis of mistaken belief. This is because two mythical figures are connected with the making of maps.

- King Atlas – the mythical king of Mauretania.

A great philosopher, mathematician and astronomer based on legend who allegedly made the first celestial globe. It was possibly Mercator’s atlas that the legend was referring to. This was when “Atlas” was first coined. This was also where even a description of the King on the title page was included.

- Atlas (from Greek Mythology) - He is the son of Titan Iapetus and Clymene (or Asia). He is also the brother of Prometheus.

Atlas was punished by Zeus so as to bear the weight of the heavens on his back. In Homer’s Odyssey, he refers to Atlas as the one who knows the depths of the whole sea. He kept the tall pillars that hold the Heavens and the Earth.

In arts, Atlas is represented as the one carrying the heavens or the Celestial Sphere on his shoulders. The earliest representation is the Farnese Atlas. You will see this at Museo Archeologico Nazionale Napoli in Naples, Italy. This figure is more often found on the cover or title-page of atlases.

In modern times, publishers in different countries can reprint maps from different places. Maps displaying roads and transport links are known as Road Atlases. These show transport links and not geographical information.

Road Atlases come in many shapes, sizes and scales. It has motoring organizations in:

- UK

- Republic of Ireland

- Mainland Europe

- North America

- Australia and

- New Zealand

There are different styles of maps, depending on individual countries on a large scale. Thus, it is the user who can find this more useful for them. An example of this is the AA’s Close-up map of Britain. The map is of a large scale. It is good for driving on and off road. The scale helps place tracks and conventional roads.

European maps differ in scales as well. When people buy maps of Europe they also need to consider where they are traveling to. Thus, maps are sold in the United States and Canada, having scales that more often the best. These maps can be used for businesses. It can also be used either by tourists or just for general interest.

Australian and New Zealand maps have smaller scale. It is made to be sold for the European market. It was made by motoring organizations or map makers. This was made so that they will have an advantage on knowing the layouts of:

- Roads

- railways and

- rivers

Option Repair Techniques

Written by JayeshBagde on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Home Management.

With Option Trading, you usually place a deal based on smart judgment. There are basic steps and useful techniques for option repair.

You cannot maintain the right position in an option trade all the time. You need to place a trade based on an intelligent judgment. It is somewhat likely to happen in the near future. You cannot control events that can hamper your forecast. There are unexpected things which can happen like:

- profit warnings

- lawsuits or

- “negative industry” news

It can cause stocks to drop unexpectedly in just one day. Rolling is one very common option of the repair technique is best suitable for it.

Here are some Steps on Option Repair Techniques

Accept when to take a loss

Take the time to consider whether a trade is worth repairing or not. Sometimes the goal of entering a certain business may vanish. This may be due to the fact that it does not meet the desired earning potential. It may also be due to some new product that does not meet the sales expectations. Rolling is a good strategy if you want to stay on a position.

Rolling an option – is the process of closing a support of an existing position. It is opening another support with the use of an option of the same type. It is in a different strike price and / or expiration date.

Rolling down – is replacing an out-of-the money option with a choice closer to the current price.

Rolling out – it means changing an option with one, having a farther out expiration month.

Rolling only helps if the stock stops going the wrong way and reverses.

Here is an example of the process to follow when deciding to repair a position or not.

On the morning of August 20, 2002 Amgen was trading at $46. The analysis says the stock has great potential. It could hit $60 by year-end. We did not want to waste $46,000 for 10,000 shares of stock. Instead, we purchased. Hence, the Jan 10, 2003 calls were for $2.00 for 10,000 shares of stocks. That’s a total of $2,000. It gives a breakeven point of $57 by January. Then, we waited to make the stocks move.

A month later, the stock price dropped to 8% on September 19th. It dropped 8% to $42. This is after Wyeth announced that they may sell a part of their stake in Amgen. Moreover, the January 10, 2003 calls were now worth $8.50 only. It went down by more than 50%. Thus, we could still do one of these three things before the four months left expires:

We can hold the option until the expiration. We will do nothing until the stock bounces back. We may be able to get all the money back.

Close the position. This is done in case the reasons why we entered the trade have disappeared. This would result in $1,150 loss. It is still less than the $4,000 loss if we had bought 10,000 shares of stocks.

Using rolling, we can try to repair the trade. The first thing to do is to sell the January 2003 calls. Using the profits of the sale, we could roll down and buy 5 of the January 2003 50 calls. We can also roll out and buy 5 of the April 2003 55 calls. Any of these 2 choices would require a little additional capital only.

It is apparent here that the best expected return is rolling out in time.

When the stock price goes past $59.50, this means that the original position outperformed the repaired position. This means that an increase of almost 50% over the next 4 months. The adjusted position gets the breakeven point down to $52.50 from $57.

The best choice depends on our future expectations for the company. It’s not important to hold the January 2003 55 calls if the original price and date is doubtful. You may lose most, if not all of your money.

The next thing to do is to look for possible option repair strategies. For instance, we still expect that Amgen will pick up again; the option is to buy more time. You may even lower your so-called breakeven point via rolling out towards the April 2003 55 calls.

If the business moves against you, it is best to take your loss. This is also applicable to repair strategies. You can roll an option once or twice. Thus, if you continue losing, it’s time to move on to something new. When the business moves against you, sometimes you don’t know what will be the next step. When you know all the possible option repair strategies, you can salvage unprofitable business.

Important Facts About Scanners

Written by JayeshBagde on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Computers and Technology.

A scanner is a device that has succeeded telephotography. These days, there are different scanners being sold in the market.

A scanner is an input device that:

- scans images

- prints text

- prints handwriting

- prints an object and converts it to digital images

Kinds of Scanners

- Drum scanners have rotating drums with a one-photo detector for a standard speed of 60 or 120 rpm. Using a telephone voice line to receptor, they can send linear analog AM signals. It prints the proportional intensity on special paper synchronously. This was used from the 1920s to the 1990s.

Color photos were sent as three separated and repeated RGB filtered images. This was only used occasionally because of the transmission cost.

- Desktop scanners or flatbed scanners found in offices are common examples of scanners. Documents are placed on the glass window for scanning.

- Handheld scanners are devices moved by hand. It evolves from text scanning to 3D scanners which are used for:

• industrial design

• reverse engineering

• test measurement

• orthotics

• gaming and more

These mechanically-driven scanners are used for large-format documents. Flatbed designs are not practical.

What these scanners use:

1. Modern scanners use image sensors such as:

• Charge-coupled device (CCD) or

• Contact Image Sensor (CIS)

2. Older drum scanners use a photomultiplier tube as its image sensor.

3. Rotary Scanner uses a CCD selection instead of a photomultiplier. Rotary Scanner is used for express document scanning. This is another type of drum scanner.

4. Planetary Scanner takes photographs of books and documents.

5. 3D Scanners are used for producing three-dimensional models of objects.

Other category of scanners:

Digital Camera Scanners

This is a reprographic camera. It becomes an attractive alternative to ordinary scanners. The disadvantages of this scanner are:

• distortion

• reflection

• shadows

• low contrast

Some of the advantages are:

• speed

• portability

• gentle digitizing of thick documents without damaging the book spine

The new scanning evolution combines 3D scanners with digital cameras. This is to make:

- full color

- photo realistic 3D model objects

Flatbed Scanners possess a glass pane with a bright light. These bright lights illuminate the pane and move optical selection which may be CCD or CIS.

These lights are usually:

• xenon or

• cold cathode fluorescent

Color scanners usually have three rows of sensors with:

• red

• green and

• blue filters

The images are scanned by placing images face down on the glass. An opaque cover is lowered over it so as to cover ambient light. The sensor selection will move over the pane in order to read the entire copy. Due to the reflecting light, the image becomes visible to the charge-coupled device. See-through images do not work this way. It needs special accessories in order to light them up from the upper side.

Scanning is only a part of the process. In order to make the scanned object useful, it must be transferred to an application running on the computer.

There are two basic issues with this:

1. the physical connection of the scanner to the computer and

2. the information retrieval of the application from the scanner

The Physical Connection of the Scanner to the Computer

The amount of data gathered by a scanner can be very large.

For example: A 600 DPI 9” x 11” uncompressed 24-bit image. It consumes about 100 megabytes. With this, uncompressed data is transferred and stored on the computer. The latest scanners can gather this volume of data in a matter of seconds. It makes a desirably fast connection.

The Four Connections used by Scanner

1. Parallel

2. Small Computer System Interface (SCSI)

3. Universal Serial Bus (USB)

4. Fire Wire

Application Programming Interface

An application must be able to communicate with scanners such as Adobe Photoshop. There are different scanners and each scanner has different protocols. To simplify application for programming, Application Programming Interfaces were made. Hence, API gives a uniform interface to the scanner. The application does not require knowing the specific details of the scanner so as to access it directly.

In reality, there are problems with an application communicating with scanners. Maybe the application or the manufacturer of the scanner has made a mistake in their implementation of API.

Burn That Fat - Age is Not an Excuse - But There is a Secret!

Written by JimKeayes on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Wellness, Fitness and Diet.

Yes, the body does change as we age and fat is stored in places that it wasn’t when we were younger.

So what? The world changes every day but earth stays on it’s orbit.

Our body’s metabolism slows and our digestive system develops malfunctions… but we have to cope or lie down and die.

Hormones in our bodies change and that can affect how we look, how we feel and the level of fitness we’re able to maintain. But here’s the constant in our lives: if we eat too much, if we drink too much alcohol or pop then we will gain weight.

That’s the bottom line: too much food will make you fat.

Many people use their age as an excuse, they say: “At a certain age everyone just starts to gain weight - it’s normal”. But you really can’t lean on that old excuse. There are lots of seniors and elderly who are still slim, fit and healthy.

It’s so easy to make excuses to ourselves… put it off till tomorrow. I’ll bet, like most everybody else, you’ve tried to change your lifestyle and eating habits in the past, and you’ve failed. Has that happened to you? One failing diet after another… till you just give up?

I’ll show you how to change all that!

Here’s the question you must ask yourself: Is it my age or am I overeating and am I drinking too much?

Our lifestyle is what creates the body we have. If we abuse our bodies with poor lifestyle choices then eventually our bodies will cease being a thing of beauty and crippling chronic ill health will arise.

And poor lifestyle choices have an accumulating effect over time. Obesity and other health related problems become a constant in our lives.

Maintaining an optimum weight throughout our lives really is the secret. The health benefits from doing this will pay dividends with a better quality of life and reduced dependence on medication and other health related expenditure as you age.

But if you’re here, today, reading this article then you probably haven’t managed to do that so far in life. That’s OK. But why not get started today to change all this. Don’t worry about your age. At any stage in your life you can benefit from improving your nutrition program and taking some exercise. It really can be easy.

Look for ways to reduce the excess levels of fat in your body. Start a gentle exercise program and be very much aware of what you eat. You’ll begin to look better, feel better and have more fun.

And that’s really what it’s all about… life should be fun!

Improving your nutrition is the easiest way to turn back the body clock. Wind back those years… it’s never too late!

Why not get started today?

Probably you got your body to where it is by eating too many high GI foods and now you’re addicted to carbs and you can’t stop… and the weight keeps piling on.

You just need to kill that carb craving and you’ll have a chance.

But you have to do it quickly. A five day program is best.

If you would like to know how to make this happen then I can help. I have recently written a book entitled “Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry” which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction and losing weight. You can download it FREE here: “Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry”

Which Are the Best Oily Skin Products?

Written by LouiseForrest on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Wellness, Fitness and Diet.

Some oily skin care products are actually very effective in helping to provide relief to this particular skin ailment. Many products are currently available and there are many new products being added to the market on a constant and regular basis.

Most of the products that can be bought all generally work in the same manner in that they absorb excess oils from the surface of the skin as well as being able to offer other benefits to the skin.

Skin that is oily generally appears to be quite dull in appearance because it is able to attract dirt and bacteria more easily. But whilst it can appear to look dull it is less prone to wrinkles because the sebum, the name given to the natural oil that is produced, is a wonderful anti-ageing treatment. This is why the surface of the skin does need some oil in order to help keep it moisturized.

But problems can appear when the amount of oils that are being produced are excessive as this can lead to other skin problems such as the appearance of blackheads, spots and also acne. But by using the right products and also making sure that the body is also being cleansed internally, such problems can quite easily be avoided.

It is essential that any oily skin product that is to be used works by absorbing any excess oils but to also ensure that the skin does not become dry. The skin still needs some natural oils on it, in order to be protected. If the skin becomes too dry then the glands will just produce even more oils, so the skin end up being even greasier than it already is.

Some of the cleansers and toners that are available for oily skin help to keep the pores free from the build up of dirt and grime, so allowing the pores to breathe. Always make sure that you selecting products that are free from any detergents or other harsh ingredients as this will lead to problems in the long term.

Oily skin care does not need to be difficult but it is important that a routine is put into place and this is performed on a daily basis. You need to make sure that you wash your face no more than twice a day; products applied to the skin should be free from oil; avoid junk food; drink clean pure water; take vitamins and make sure that your diet is full of vitamins and minerals.

As mentioned you need to enforce this routine and the result will soon begin to show but it is important that you do not deviate from this plan and when using natural based products you should not mix these with other products that contain chemicals.

Prevention is better cure especially if you want to avoid an outbreak of spots or acne, so if you are sill finding that your skin is oily during the day, simply blot any excess oils with a tissue and this will prevent the skin from looking dull and also prevent the skin from attracting dirt.

How to Find the Most Effective Fax Numbers Directory

Written by ChrisBurns on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Society.

Use your home desktop to send and receive faxes. Get started on direct marketing from home today! Those were the words that got me, and I believe, a lot of people started on their tele-fax marketing journey. Get a fax numbers directory or a list of contacts and start your marketing effort.

I mean who wouldn’t want to try it? It offers the promise of financial independence, no longer having to wake up at odd hours, attending pointless meetings and dealing with office politics. And the rewards promised to be great. Anything from $25 - $50 an hour for some companies, to a purely attractive commissioned base system, which pays well for every sale closed by you.

All that is needed is a flair for writing sales copy, a good eye and a clear voice. Learn about the product and start telling people how much more their lives will be improved if they were to discover its wonders and potentials. Direct fax marketing has taken off with the inception of digital fax and more efficient interfaces that allow on board computer programmes to send and receive fax through the phone line. The lower costs has encouraged more and more people to try their hand at direct marketing and companies see the opportunity to lower their costs by hiring these virtual operators.

What wasn’t mentioned at the start was that the quality of the fax numbers directory must be excellent and I think the following term hasn’t been used enough – ‘highly targeted’. Good repositories of fax numbers or a contact list of any sort requires the names to be funnelled by criteria and potential purchasing decision, based on the product and industry it comes from. If you are trying to sell a new finance plan, you would target those with disposable incomes, earning above a certain wage bracket coupled with specific criteria like family size, age of kids.

Effective lists are not easy to find, especially with the proliferation of more and more people turning to free lists, given by back end companies who only use them as doorways for their affiliate marketing purposes.
